Hello, my name is Sameer Shrestha, and I am originally from Nepal. After working for 9 years in Kuopio, I recently quit my job and decided to pursue my dream to be a fulltime photographer. I hold a bachelor's degree in International Business from Savonia UAS. About 5 years ago, I decided to start photography as an addition to my travel hobby. But the hobby grew on me, and I completely fell in love with photography. Documenting people, culture, and stories has always fascinated me. Photography has spoken to me more than anything ever could. I have lived in Finland for 12 plus years and left my home country as a young boy. As a person born in a third-world country, at times I feel I have lived in two different worlds. I have seen cultures collide and people misunderstood. I have seen the two sides of the coin that most people fail to see or understand. I believe photography holds the key to breaking such barriers between the two worlds.

I do event photography, portraits, headshots, animal photography and even provide lessons if required.
